I visited Paris during quarantine. I will never forget the emptiness of the city, the tranquility and calmness that had overcome the once packed capital. It was as if there had been some sort of apocalypse, roads were empty, while bars and restaurants, museums and galleries were closed. I experienced a city usually filled with 2 million tourists a day, completely abandoned. Most iconically, the serenity, calmness and quiet was in many ways exciting and unique to experience.
